It’s been a good 2 months of silence. I have been very busy & have been skipping the music-finding. I have had to find new tunes to supplement my application filling-up and here are some of my favourite tunes.
Auriént is 19 year old Daniel Garner a producer who hails from Santa Barbara, California. Below is his forthcoming single, “Hip Girl”.
Derek VanScoten is a guitarist/ producer/ educator in Brooklyn, NY. He strives to create that elevated feeling in the listener’s chest with his guitar-soaked experimental dance beats. ‘Bright Beginning’ is one of my favourite tracks from him.
We’ve all seen the raunchy Chilly Gonzales ‘You Can Dance’ video [above]. Almost a year later Robotaki comes along a throws down an instrumental with a few new synth lines, check it below.
Chilly Gonzales – You Can Dance (Robotaki Instrumental Remix) [mp3]
Anjunadeep and Tom Middleton come together in a solid track from Anjunadeep 04. Keeping with Anjunadeep style, the track is both “immersive and elegant.”
Paronator - No Gravity (Tom Middleton Liquatech Mix) [mp3]
After about 2 months - the blog is back. It’s been a while but I believe I have gathered up some good tunes. For those asking for the progressive house - that’s going to be a while. A Japanese take on Miles Davis’ 70’s-style jazz? Yes, please.
Here’s Kim Hiorthøy - a Norwegian artist in most senses of the word: electronic musician, graphic designer, illustrator, filmmaker and writer. The track’s “Jeg Er Bare Her”, a great minimal/experimental track.
Nujabes’ death has been painful and is further worsened with the recent release of his posthumous album. The only positive aspect are the tribute tracks that do Nujabes’ Japanese-flavored jazz justice.
